Whiplash is a neck injury caused by the back and forth movement of your head, such as when a vehicle strikes your vehicle from the rear. Symptoms of whiplash include:
- Your neck hurts and is stiff.
- The pain is worse when you move your neck from side to side.
- You cannot turn your head as far to the left or right as usual.
- You experience headaches, usually starting in the back of your head at the base of your skull.
- You may experience a tingling sensation or numbness in your arms.
